Dotama is a giant black, horned, humanoid head made of cracked black stone which floats in the air, surrounded by eight revolving rocks which shoot fireballs and can be destroyed individually. These rocks shield Dotama and must be destroyed or shot around for it to take damage. Dotama itself attacks by firing lasers from its eyes. When defeated, it crumbles into dust.
In Japanese, 頭 ("dotama") is a slang word for "head."
Rabio Lepus Special[]
Stage: Stage 2 (Asteroid Base); Stage 5 (Demon Palace)
Dotama is now dark purple instead of black but behaves in the same manner.
