Glen (グレン) is an American wrestler and a member of the Blazers along with Gill and Glenda.
Description[]
Glen is a wrestler who was training under a Chinese martial arts master until the latter was murdered. While considered to be serious and quiet, he is also proud of his physique and his abilities.
Glen is African American with short brown hair and brown eyes. He is extremely muscular and apparently never wears a shirt. His pants are orange in Karate Blazers and dark green in the Sonic Wings series.
Karate Blazers[]
The invincible wrestler with thunderous fists
—Karate Blazers in-game description
Glen is cocky and seems immensely proud of his physique. For his special attack, he pounds his fist on the ground, sending out a shockwave to damage the enemy.
Sonic Wings 3[]
Fight, You're Not Alone
Fighting action game: The Karate Blazers duo makes their appearance
Like Gill, he is a character from "Karate Blazers" and is a 28-year-old black man. He is a martial artist from the same school as Gill, and his reason for going to fight is the same. He is bare-chested (why?), and his well-trained muscles stand out. He is a quiet and serious guy.
—Sonic Wings 3 Strategy Special guidebook
Glen and Gill are searching for their murdered Chinese karate master's daughter, along with secret scrolls that were stolen when she was kidnapped. They climb on board Glenda's P-61, and she decides to go to battle with them without having any personal reason to fight. Glenda speaks little but does show some wry humor in dealing with the dim men on her team.
Glen and Gill claim that the stolen scrolls contain a homing device, and they relay its signals to Glenda in order for her to guide the plane. Nevertheless, they fail to rescue the missing girl:
- In their English single-player ending, and in the Japanese version if the Bermuda Triangle is the final stage, the Blazers question a soldier of the organization they've defeated, only to find out that they were pursuing the wrong evil organization all along. They don't seem bothered, though.
- In the Japanese version of the game only, the Blazers have a different ending if Mars is the final stage. They track down the master's daughter and discover that she has been kidnapped by Gore, who flies off with her. Meanwhile, the Blazers have no idea who he is.
The Blazers fight with Mecha-Keaton in two-player mode. They seem surprised at his appearance and aren't sure who he is at first. Keaton likes to boast that as a robot, he doesn't show the Blazers' human weaknesses; however, the trio don't seem to envy his situation. After the final boss battle, Keaton's plane blows up, but he manages to escape by ejecting his head. The Blazers rescue him, but then their plane explodes too.
Sonic Wings Special/Sonic Wings Limited[]
Glen and Gill appear in Angela's 1P ending if the final stage is Another Dimension. Glen and Gill witness Angela's plane crashing, and her clothes fall off to reveal that she's wearing a corset. The humiliated Angela beats up Glen and Gill for "peeking."
