The JAS-39 Gripen is a Swedish supersonic fighter aircraft manufactured by Saab. "Gripen" is Swedish for "griffin," a mythological creature who is half lion and half eagle.[1]

Tee-Bee A-10 pilots the JAS-39. Its main shot is fairly strong at its lowest power, and its usefulness increases with power-ups. At full power, it sends out slow-moving float mines in addition to its normal fire; these seek the enemy, although they often move too slowly to do any damage. The Grand Napalm bomb drops a napalm spread horizontally and for a short distance vertically.
