The Ju 87 G Stuka is a variant of the Ju 87 dive bomber and ground-attack aircraft, manufactured by Junkers for Nazi Germany during World War II. The G variant was upgraded to become an anti-tank aircraft. "Stuka" is short for the German word "Sturzkampfflugzeug," meaning "dive bomber."[1]

The Ju 87 G Stuka, piloted by Kowful and Lord River-n-White as a team, is slow, but its artillery can be powerful. The main weapon shoots narrow, needle-shaped bullets, while the sub weapon is a large, penetrating projectile. When powered up, it changes to a non-penetrating anti-ship missile called the Fritz X. When detonating its One-Ton Bomb, the aircraft rises then dives into the enemy. It is invincible during this maneuver, and the bomb's blast destroys enemy bullets.
Sonic Wings Special[]
Kowful pilots the Ju 87 G Stuka alone as his secondary aircraft. It isn't as strong as his usual AJ-37 Viggen, and it takes more power-ups to reach its full potential. However, the One-Ton Bomb is more powerful than in Sonic Wings 3; it drops a shell on the enemy which produces a large, long-lasting explosion.
