The Ka-50 Hokum is a Russian attack helicopter manufactured by Kamov. "Hokum A" is the helicopter's NATO reporting name, while its Russian name is "Black Shark" (Чёрная акула). The Ka-50 is the only playable helicopter in the Sonic Wings series. Pseudo Sky Rascals explains that the game creators had always wanted to include a helicopter in the games.

Volk pilots the Ka-50 Hokum. The Hokum's artillery is powerful, even on its lowest level, and is quite responsive; the line of fire changes when the Hokum shifts to the left or right. Its bomb calls forth several huge wingmen(Tupolev Tu-95MS bombers x4 or Tupolev Tu-160 "White Swan" bombers x3) who drop missiles on the enemy.
