The M6A1 Seiran is an attack floatplane produced by Aichi Kokuki KK for the Japanese navy during World War II. Seiran (晴嵐) means "clear sky storm."[1] It is piloted by Mao Mao.

The Seiran's "Green Gale" sub weapon is a long, narrow green homing laser. Like Mao Mao's usual aircraft, the F-15 Eagle, the Seiran's bomb is the E-Wave. This is due to the fact the "time stopper" ability comes from Mao Mao's voice rather than a weapon on her aircraft. The E-Wave scatters light blue balls, and holding down the button produces a ball of light around the Seiran.
Sonic Wings Special[]
The Seiran is more powerful than Mao Mao's F-15 Eagle, but it is much slower. Its bomb surrounds the plane with a slowly narrowing force field for a few seconds, which obliterates any enemies who come in contact with it.
