Ojanko High School (お雀子ハイスクール) is a "strip mahjong" game released for the arcades in 1988.
Overview[]
High school principal Taro Kitashirakawa summons an expert mahjong player to save his school, which has been taken over by an "evil sports club." The principal asks the player to use his abilities and restore peace to the school by defeating the club, whose true form is revealed to be the "mahjong ghost" Soh Takeko.
In the process of "restoring peace," the player battles six female students, culminating with the mahjong club champion Kyobashi Junko. Upon each girl's defeat, she undresses and the player wins an item. Three men also appear randomly to interrupt battles with the girls: a rude male student, the school janitor, and an elderly man called the "Mahjong Hermit."
Several characters from Rabio Lepus appear in the game: : princess Kotomi Kitashirakawa under the alias Kitayama Fuyumi, her sister Komomo Kitashirakawa under the alias Takano Izumi, and king Taro Kitashirakawa as the high school's principal. Soh Takeko later appears as a possible final boss in Sonic Wings 3.
