The Mahjong Touhaiden (Ｔｈｅ麻雀闘牌伝) is a mahjong game that also contains some RPG elements, released for the Super Famicom in 1993.
Overview[]
The Mahjong Touhaiden includes a story mode in which the player competes to earn the title of "King of Tiles," as well as a mode in which they can play individual matches. The game also allows the player to accumulate money and buy items in shops.
Three Sonic Wings characters appear in the game:
- River-n-White as a challenger
- Mao Mao as a shopkeeper
- Tee-Bee A-10

The King of Tiles is a dark lord with the power to control Japan's political economy from behind the scenes. Very few people know of his existence, but there is no end to the number of people who are after his fortune, which is said to be worth several years of the national budget. This is the story of the epic battle between the King of Tiles and those who want to take his place.
